Hello, I am Taylor Ewan. I am a graduating senior in Freestyle Academy Film. Next fall I am enrolled in visual arts-media at the University of California San Diego. I hope to work in the future on films as a cinematographer, however I am also interested in how media can play into other fields such as marketing. Freestyle has allowed me to meet so many other creative individuals, learn new outlets for my creativity, and exposed me to more opportunities to create art within my school days. I think I have become even more passionate about visual arts such as video editing, photography and cinematography throughout my time here at freestyle. Overall I have loved the alternative learning style of the program as it allowed me to do work I am passionate about, think outside the box and work very closely with those around me on a constant basis.

For this reel I wanted to show all sorts of different projects that I did between all of my classes (Digital Media, English and Film) over the past two years. I opted to leave out my zenith work as it is the focus of my showcase video. Here you can see the development of my work in After Effects, Premiere Pro, working with cameras and other tools.
For this showcase video I wanted to focus on my Zenith project. This project shows a lot about what specifically within film really interests me. In addition I feel that this shows where I have my strengths as well as where I have room to grow.
