Gratitude

This week, we were assigned to take a photo of something that we are grateful for. I am really grateful to have been able to receive a music education, and I really love music. In the foreground is what I’m working on right now, Franck Violin Sonata, and in the […]

Who Inspires Me

This week, we were assigned to take a photo of someone who inspires us. I couldn’t actually leave my house to take a photo of anyone, so I took a photo of the things I put up on my wall. All of these people made me who I am today.

Habits

This week, we were challenged to take a photo inspired by either good habits or bad habits. I have a bad habit of constantly snacking on sweet foods like caramel popcorn, pictured here, and I think this habit grew out of my stress.

Exit

This week, our prompt was to be inspired by our exit and the end of the school year. I took a photo of my bedroom door, because doors were kind of the obvious choice for this prompt. I think it’s kind of nice that I have the little photo of […]

Tell a Lie

Out prompt this week was to use the camera to ‘tell a lie.’ Honestly, I had no clue what to do with this prompt, so I just took a picture that I thought would be funny.

Serenity

This week, we were challenged to take a photo of what serenity means to us. For me, I feel the most serene when I am making things. This is a photo of some of my sewing supplies. I like the repetitive motions of sewing, and it is easy to listen […]

#No Filter

This week, we were challenged to take a photo without any filters or edits. Usually I do not edit my photos, so this was something that I was used to doing, but this time, I wanted to highlight the fact that I did not use a filter. Many filters out […]

Anonymous

This week, we were challenged to take a photo inspired by what the word “anonymous” means to us. As for this stack of chairs, it is unclear who did this, so to me, this work is anonymous. I also feel like the chairs have a blank feeling, so the anonymity […]

Trash

This week, we were challenged to take a photo of trash. I felt inspired by the Chinese take-out food that my family ate. I really like taking pictures of food because I believe that the food that we eat is very closely tied with our culture and values. That, and […]

Black & White

This week, we were challenged to take a photo that’s black and white. I didn’t have anything good to take a photo of, but I had my animation project. He is beauty. He is grace. He is Benny.
