For this photo, I wanted to focus on the motion aspect of the prompt, so my immediately I thought of my cat, Poppy. Unfortunately, Poppy was not a very cooperative model, and left me with 50-60 pictures that were either off-center or too blurry. Out of all the pictures I took, however, I think this one captures exactly what I was looking for. To get Poppy to move around where I wanted her to, I had to throw around her favorite toy (a felt ball with dangling feathers), which is what she’s looking at behind the camera. Although I initially wanted to have the toy in the shot as well, I actually enjoy that it’s out of frame, as it makes the motion more mysterious.
