For this week’s photo challenge, I decided so capture a small corner of my plant-filled backyard. My dad’s main creative outlet is botany, so he spends most of his time in our garden creating odd arrangements, using old antiques, household items, or really anything as a planter. My favorite arrangements he makes are ones that frame technology being overtaken by plants, such as the coffee-machine plants pictured above. I think the mood of clashing time periods and settings is really beautiful and weirdly inspirational to me in my own artwork.
