Perspective Video
Part of this unit was telling our opinion about something. I chose to talk about the future of Virtual Reality (VR), and what it means for everyone.
Mandala
For this project, I used Adobe Illustrator to design a Mandala so that it could be printed for websites or laser etched into a material. By using some effects inside of Illustrator, I could repeat a pattern in a circular way around an origin point.
In the first version of the mandala, I made it black and white so that we could engrave the pattern into a strip of copper.
For showing on screens, I made a mandala that had warm colors. I felt like this added another layer of meaning, since I patterned my colors to look like a fire. To me, I tried to make the mandala have a resemblance to the sun because of how central it is to all life on earth.
