The prompt was Mass/weight, and it was labeled under Inspiration. I chose to show visual weight through color and value. The focal point, which is the red light, has a lot of visual weight because it stands out from the background which has little color. The dark colors surrounding the light also add to the weight. For this photo I took a picture of the light on an extension cord, and for the white light in the background I used my laptop screen.
I wish I had done some things differently such as get the focal point in focus. Most of my pictures were blurry. Also I wish I had experimented with light more and different colors, as well as different light sources rather than just the one from the laptop. It would add some more interest to the photo.
