This week we were challenged to find inspiration in the seasons, so I decided to capture a very symbolic symbol of this season: My family’s Christmas tree. I also wanted to juxtapoz it next to green trees outside our window since I’ve noticed the grass gets greener here during the winter. (Which is a new thing for me since it’s the complete opposite where I used to live.) And of course there is way more evergreens here. I also wanted to make it more abstract by making the lights on the tree very blurry to give it that wondrous look that I associate with the holiday season.
