Leading Lines

Leading Lines

While on a hike I saw this tree that winded around and around in the most abstract sense, and it really caught my eye. I decided to take a picture and I would say that it definitely has a sense of line that emphasizes the

Love Story

Love Story

This week’s photo challenge was to tell a love story. While at the Grand Canyon, I saw this man climb to the edge of a rock beyond the railings. My initial reaction was to worry and freak out that this man could fall to his

Weight or Mass

Weight or Mass

The backside of a girl upside down legs bent with feet touching. A red silk is wrapped around her suspending her in the air.
Silks

For this challenge we had to take a picture of something representing weight or mass. I went to a retreat with my family where we learned how to do silks. This is a picture of my sister on them. This week we were assigned to take a photo conveying our mood for the week. I love to travel, and often find myself on adventures to random places many weekends. My sister’s face and gesture show a sense of happiness and peace, which goes well with the serene and calm-colored ocean behind her. Overall, my desire to be in a tranquil environment especially nature is what I intended to show in this image.

Rule of Thirds – Motion

Rule of Thirds – Motion

This week we were assigned to take a photo using the Rule of Thirds with a focus on motion. In this photo of my youngest sister, motion can be identified through things such as her hair blowing, her dress moving, as well as her overall

Self-Portrait

Self-Portrait

This photo, while it may not seem like a literal self-portrait, in a way represents me. It can be hard to see through me at first, I hope to spread color and life upon those who I love. I can be described as complex, but
