In my essay, I wrote about how I thought music was my problem solver, metaphorically.

Music Solves Everything

Feeling like a zombie in the morning, needing to wake up, I start playing music throughout the speakers in my room. Being able to feel the energy cruising through my body, like a porsche driving through the freeway full speed at night. Fast, like shifting to 6th gear, feeling the energy bouncing off the inside of my skin so quickly. The torch of the car is pulling me back as the car itself moves forward. It makes my tastebuds tingle, wanting more and more of the feeding energy, just trying to stay alive.
As my mom grounds me, after an argument we've had about grades, she sends me to my room. Me, being angry at myself knowing that I could've done better, I go straight to my iPod, play my music, lay on my bed, close my eyes and escape into a world of peace. Im now sitting on a large comfortable white cloud staring down at the green grass right next to the light blue lake, surrounded by butterflies, knowing that everything will be fine. I forget about the fact of being grounded, and all I could think about is how much I love this new world Im in. Problem solved.
The music that plays through the speakers of a party; everyone dancing and enjoying themselves, setting a positive habitat for the party, keeping it alive. The sparkle of the movement is uninterrupted, like a shadow of light. The trance of the music, touching each and every one in the hearts, making sure that the heart stays pumping. Keeping me in a world of peace surrounded by beautiful white clouds with music playing throughout everywhere. The party will keep going until the population of dancers can dance no more. Or until the music stops, and the party dies, laid to rest.
iPods are like instruments, they play the music for you. I see "iPod" ads on the billboards while driving on the freeway, with a shape of a person dancing and smiling, displaying that the figure is having a good time listening to the music on their "iPod". Singers and Composers make music because it brings light to their world. There are performers on the sidewalks of Pier 39 in San Francisco, setting up their little bongo drums, pianos, trumpets and guitars at night, preparing themselves for a free gig to the public. From what I have distinguished, there are always packs of individuals surrounding the bracket of musicians, like swarms of fish swimming in the ocean . Giving tips to the instrumentalists, dancing, taking photos and videos. It proves to me that the music gives light to their worlds as well, in the dark.
If things are upside-down, turn them right side up, by setting the mood with the type of music that you wish to be playing, so you could turn your frown upside down. Don't let anything die. Keep things alive and shining through the darkness. Express, and share your emotions, with the light of music.
