A webgem is a website that you personally enjoy looking at or being on that is unique. It is a website that helps interests you and that you think not many people know about it.
12/12/11 Im pretty sure every one of you know what youtube is. Well, if you don't, it is a website where people from all over the world upload videos. Youtube allows you to view videos in playlists, and gives you the option to watch the videos in HD. For those of you who use youtube, but do not have an account, I recommend you make one, so then you can subscribe to your friends channels, and subscribe to the channels that make you videos you like watching.
12/9/11 Do you want to buy something for cheaper than usual, or sell something? Craigslist is where it's at. On this website, you can find everything you want. Also, if you are trying to sell something, which can be anything, you can sell it on here. I mostly enjoy this website because you can search whatever you want, and find it! It is kind of another version of "amozon" which is another website where you can buy and sell things. But you will never go wrong with using "craigslist".
12/8/11 Pandora is free music that you can listen to on the internet. Who doesnt like that! Pandora allows you to add any radio station you want. All you have to do is put in the name of the artist, or genre, and it will play all the songs that correspond to what you added. Also, if you dislike the song that is playing, you have the chance to skip it. It also allows you to dislike the song so it makes sure it will never play that song again. When you like a song, it makes sure to play more songs like the one you liked. The only thing that I'm pretty sure everyone will dislike, is that there are advertisements and commercials every few songs. But it's not too bad. So go make yourself an account and relax to whatever music you want!
12/5/11 Zamzar.com allows you to convert files to any other file you want. For example, you can convert music from youtube to actual mp3 for your ipod. But you can also take videos, it's awsome! I like using this website because its fast, and super easy to use. And also FREE! So if you are trying to get some music, or some videos for something important, I definitely recomend this website.
11/18/11 Transworld Skateboarding is a skateboard magazine. Its website gives you updates on what pro skaters have to say, new products that came out, and videos that haven't been put on youtube. If you are not subscribed to the "Transworld Skateboarding" magazine, then you can use this website as a replacement to the magazine. I enjoy this website because it gives me updates on skateboarding, and describes what pros think will happen next. If your lagging on the skateboarding news, this will help you catch up.
11/11/11 Finished reading a book? Want to understand what you read better? This website is perfect for that. Search whatever book you want , and check out the summaries and reviews on the books and stories. I like this website a lot because it explains only the important parts of each chapter. It also gives you questions and answers if you need to review for a quiz. It is a very helpfull website and I believe that it will help everybody get a better understanding of what they read.
11/9/11 Caliskatz is also a great website for skateboarders. If you want to find a new spot, or visit a new skatepark, this is where you want to go. It gives you reviews on the places you want to go skate at. It also explains what the rules of the skatepark are. For the street spots, they give you a heads up on the security guards and if you even need to keep a heads up. So when you go skate, you don't need to worry about getting kicked out or anything. If you don't know how to get to the spot you want to locate, this website also gives you directions and a map on how to get there. Tired of skating the same things, and want to go somewhere new, CHECK THIS WEBSITE OUT!
10/22/11 The berrics is a website made for all skateboarders. It includes skate videos, pictures, events, and anything you need to know about skateboarding. I like surfing this website because I enjoy skating, and I like to know when and where and what channel on tv the event is going to be on. I like it also because it is very well constructed. It is fun because before you enter the website, it shows you a little preview of what is up for that week. Then there is a button that asks you to enter. The Berrics is also the only good informational skate website there is. Every skater from all around the world looks at this. The skate videos are of every sponsored skater from around the world. The Berrics is a facility made for skateboarding. It is an indoor skatepark with many obstacles to choose from. So if you skate, and don't know about this website, you are welcome:)
