When I walked outside to look for candidates for this photo blog entry I spotted a sandal perfectly in the middle of my lawn. I assume one of my two dogs had brought it outside, they tend to do that, and when observing it I couldn’t help but bask in its loneliness. When taking the photo I wanted to ensure nothing else was in the frame but the sandal and grass, sort of giving off the illusion of the grass being an endless field. Which sort of emphasizes the loneliness.
