This week’s challenge was to take a photo that employed leading lines. In this picture, I used the lines on the curb to guide the viewer’s eyes to the subject of the photo: shoes. I like the way the shoes imply that the subject of the photo is a person, but they don’t offer much information on to what that person’s story is. Their identity is left ambiguous.
I felt that the lines also contrasted nicely with the fallen leaves which have a more natural, amorphous shape.
