pitch
The logline for my original, solo pitch reads as follows:
When a 13-year-old girl sneaks away from home to stay with her sister in college for a weekend, she discovers that she is not all that eager to grow up after all.
synopsis
After the pitch, we paired off. Jonah and I started working on a new story idea together. Both of our individual pitches involved siblings, so we started there. Then we scrapped the sibling and picked up Christmas instead because why not? Growing up remained a theme of our early drafts.
dialogue scene
It was time to practice! Mr. Taylor pulled the boom mics out of storage for us to film a dialogue scene in groups. We learned about phantoms and dead cats and other fun things.
