Last year, we explored narrative through images, learning how to compose visuals that tell a story when placed in succession. This year, we delved deeper into narrative, continuing to explore the visual aspect — specifically how a story can be communicated through a single frame — but now incorporating dialogue as well. In my three classes, I worked to develop a lyrical essay, multi-layer art project, and 10-15 minute narrative film, using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
