storms

a metal thing on a roof against blue skies
what is this?

The weather this year has been very weird. A cold spell in August, a hot spell in January, and now alternating days of sunny spring skies and chilly winter rain. The day I took this picture was one of the former. As I walked, bathed in bright yellow light, looking at the cornflower blue above, I felt a sense of foreboding. I wouldn’t mind some typical February weather.

I’m honestly not sure what this metal thing is, but its spinning, shiny presence against the sky reminded me of our impact on nature. The anthropocene or whatever. A little frightening.

Hoping to get some storms soon.
