For this week’s photo, we were challenged to take a picture which told a story of warmth. Yesterday, I was out with my friend at a beautiful field, and there was an incredible sunset. As soon as the sun dipped below the rolling green hills, the sky burst with flaming orange and yellow clouds. We had a red balloon with us, and I felt like the balloon sought to join its fellow warm colors up in the sky. After floating among the daytime sky of blue, I imagine that the balloon felt much more at home surrounded by colors similar to its own.
Sunsets always remind me of summer, so it was refreshing to see such a vibrant one yesterday. A sweet and fleeting taste of summer was a happy way to end a day filled with schoolwork and Zoom meetings.
