I photographed my friend laying down in a tree to portray serenity because I think that being in nature never fails to bring a sense of calm. Moreover, my friend’s position suggests that she feels relaxed and content. In Adobe Photoshop, I added a warming Photo Filter because I tend to associate serenity with warmth.
