In this photograph, I creatively used a relatively deep depth of field to emphasize the subject in the background. I lined the fence up with the bottom of the life guard tower to give the illusion that the fence is supporting the tower; in other words, I used depth of field to manipulate the distance beween objects in the composition. I think that the leading lines from the fence are particularly intriguing.
