To answer this prompt, I chose to photograph lichen on a fallen stick. This represents aging to me because this lichen covered stick came from a tree, which once grew from a sapling and a seed. I desaturated the green grass in this photo using the Quick Selection Tool in Adobe Photoshop because I felt like the vibrant green distracted from the colors of the lichen.
