The subjects of this picture include two dark pine trees silhouetted against a somewhat cloudy sky. I chose to capture this photo to represent my mood because I feel like the dark trees represent how I’m feeling about my junior year of high school. Like my friends (represented through the second tree), I’ve been pretty stressed recently due to an increased amount of schoolwork and the looming pressure of college applications. There are some clouds in my life, but I understand that the blue sky will reveal itself soon. I utilized some symmetry in this picture because I wanted to emphasize how the other tree/other people are experiencing the same thing as I am right now.
