This project was super short and fun in English class. Based on our study of humor techniques looking at Slaughterhouse 5 among a couple other texts, we were tasked with creating a project to present to the class. I decided to partner with Samay who helped me create a script for a short skit to present to the class. The skit is about a job interview for someone who is hiring someone but uses absurdity to over qualify the requirements for the job. Overall I think the script wasn’t that funny, but the effect we added to it made it hilarious. The night before the presentation of our skit, I decided that using Helium to make our voices really high pitched would be funny. I went on a 1 am helium run to Safeway to grab some balloons, and well… here are the results.
