This week’s challenge was inspired by weight and mass. I took this picture of a bird feather resting on one of the leaves of a Japanese Maple tree. I thought it was interesting to see how a delicate leaf could still hold the weight of a feather. Initially, my plan was to throw the feather in the air and capture an image of as it fell, but that proved to be really difficult, because I was working alone and the movement caused my camera to go out of focus. On my final attempt, the wind picked up and the feather floated and landed onto the leaves, where I took this picture.
