Center Frame Portrait

For this photo, I wanted to have a more “dramatic” type of lighting. However, when initially taking the photo, it felt a bit off:

A figure overly shrouded in darkness, standing in front of a slatted window that is brightly lit from behind.
50mm, 1/60, F3.8, ISO 3200

I felt that my face was too dark and the lighting didn’t feel very moody. So, I went into photoshop to completely rework the lighting, and I am honestly pretty happy with this result! The overall process took longer than a normal photo blog should probably take, but I’m alright with that since I love the result.

A figure partially shrouded in darkness, with his face and right arm illuminated by the slatted window that is brightly lit from behind.
