In our weekly photo blog, one of the weekly challenges asked us to take a photo of things, people or places that are inspirational to us.

Anonymous

Anonymous

This week, we were challenged to take a photo inspired by the word “anonymous.” I took a photo of this hardcover book that had no writing on its cover. This book could be about anything: dogs, cookies, hockey – who knows. That’s why it’s anonymous.

Trash

Trash

This week, we were challenged to take a photo inspired by trash. I took a photo of this eggshell that is in my compost bin because it is actual food trash. The entire compost bin is composed of food scraps and trash, but it’s all able to come together to make compost.

Black and White

Black and White

This week, we were challenged to take a photo in black and white. I chose to take a photo of some Christmas cookies I baked because they are usually associated with warm colors of the holiday season. It’s strange to see some cookies without color.

Weight

Weight

This week, we were challenged to take a photo inspired by weight. I took a photo of this cardboard box. A box this big seems like it should be heavy, but it’s actually really light. After all, it’s just an empty cardboard box.

Mood

Mood

For this weeks photo challenge, we were challenged to take a photo based off the mood we were feeling that day. The day I took this photo, I felt pretty bored the entire day and I didn’t really do anything productive. This is shown through all the crossed out writing, leaving no legible words on the paper.
