In our weekly photo blog, one of the weekly challenges asked us to take a photo that tells a story.

Friends and Family

Friends and Family

This week, we were challenged to tell the story of our friends or families through a photo. This is a photo of my friends when we watched the sunrise together. Since we were unable to have a school-organized “senior sunrise” we decided to have our own. Not only is this showing the story of how we all decided to wake up at 6 AM to watch the sunrise, it tells the story of our high school friendship.

Shadow

Shadow

This week, we were challenged to take a photo using shadow to tell a story. I took this photo of a shadow that was cast on the wall in my room. I still don’t know what was actually casting this shadow, but it looks like a hill. It tells the story of an upward climb to the light, which is the end goal.

New Beginnings

New Beginnings

This week, we were challenged to take a photo that tells the story of a new beginning, as it’s the first photo blog of 2020. I took a photo of the sunset at the beach. Hometown

Love Story

Warmth

Warmth

This week, we were challenged to take a photo of something that makes you feel warm inside. I decided to take a picture of my Nintendo Switch on one of my blankets. For me, playing video games has always made me happy. Playing a game for countless of hours in the comfort of my own bed has and will always be something that can easily warm my heart.

Self Portrait

Self Portrait

For this photo, I took a picture of some of my favorite albums laying against my CD player. This photo is representative of me as listening to music is one of my favorite things to do. My parents gave me this old CD player to allow me to have and listen to physical versions of my favorite music. I have listened to all of the pictured albums for hours on end and they have all helped me to become the…
