I went to a flower garden in early December and noticed how the color of these flowers matched the weather. Even though there isn’t much of a “winter” in California and it’s more of an extended fall, the leaves still turn orange and the weather gets a more brisk. In this sense, the warm orange tones of these flowers reminded me of a California winter.
