In our weekly photo blog, one of the weekly challenges was to take photos of things people or places that inspire us.

This is another picture I took at Stanford on Palm Drive. The picture tells a lie because the tree looks like they are getting shorter when they are all the same height.

This is a picture I took while walking to the bus stop from school. I took it because I really liked how colorful the trees in distance were.

This is a picture of a fountain in a shopping center. To me, serenity is the sound of running water, it’s the most calming sound out there.

This is a picture of my friend Midori with the coffee cup covering her face giving her anonymity.

This a picture of a trash can at a park. I thought the way the light hit the trash can looked very cool.

This a picture of my neighbors house and their Christmas lights. The lights give the image a contrast from the darkness of the night sky.

I took a picture of a glass bottle filled with blue paint sinking in a glass cup. Even though there is a gap of air in the bottle, it sinks because the glass is denser than the water around it.

This week we were challenged to take a picture that represented our mood. I took this picture on the roof on my friends apartment. The picture shows how I’ve been feeling down recently while also having small moments of happiness.
