When I went on a walk I met my neighbor that lived across the street with his dog. His dog is named Lucky and he only speaks Mandarin.
Category Archives: Story Telling
In our weekly photo blog, one of the weekly challenges was to take photos that tells a story.
Aging
This is a picture of Milk Pail which has been closed recently. It has always been around, and it was somewhere my family and I shopped frequently.
Shadow
This is a picture of my sister making shadow puppets. When we were younger we used to spend a lot of time playing with flashlights and reading instead of sleeping.
New Beginnings
This is a picture of the piece of paper and the shadow it created. I chose to take a picture of a piece of paper because it represents an empty slate which is the start of a masterpiece.
Home Town
This a night time picture from the top of a little hill at a park I used to play at a lot when I was younger.
Love Story
This is a picture of my friend Midori with her cat Molly. I think the bond someone can form with their pet is amazing and platonic love is just as important as romantic love.
Warmth
This weeks challenge was to take a photo that told a warm story. This blanket was given to me by my “grandparents,” an old couple that lived across the street from us. They would always give us fresh zucchinis from their backyard and gingerbread cookie when we came by. I considered them my grandparents since my real grandparents lived very far from me.
Self-Portrait
For our week one photo blog, we were supposed to take a self portrait photo that we thought represented us. I took a picture of a jar of colored pencils and my lap top. My favorite art medium to use is colored pencils because you can draw so much detail with them. They are a little more tedious then paints or charcoal, but they are a lot of fun to mess around with.
