Self-Portrait

The prompt to this PhotoBlog was a faceless self-portrait, and the first thing that came to mind was my books and bookshelf. I am told by all my friends that I am never without a book, too which I agree. Books and reading has always held such a significant part of my life because of how easy it is to get lost in these unique stories. As a film student I think my love for reading helps with the process of creating stories to shoot, which is why I am so excited for this school year. I chose to photograph the books, “Fourth Wing” and “Iron Flame” because those two books are currently my favorites I’ve read this year.
