What does serenity mean to you? For me, I would probably define it as the idea of complete bliss, or fulfillment. While this might sound like the ideal form of existence, I find the idea of being completely fulfilled kind of depressing. What is there to do in a world where you already have everything, the true feeling of fulfillment really only comes from working through hardship. Id rather have an open cold horizon than an enclosed paradise.
