Produce Conga
It was generous and merciful of Mr Flo to assign such a simple prompt for this week’s challenge. I used the opportunity to play with my food.
Side note: isn’t it strange that there is something called a grapefruit? I mean, there’s already a fruit called a grape. What’s the deal with that? And I also find it strange how limited the suffix “ade” is to describe the beverage form of something. It’s really only applied to lemon and lime, so that made me think that maybe it’s a citrus thing, but oranges don’t get that treatment! It’s still just called orange juice. Also, I find it kind of weird that a pineapple isn’t a citrus. It really seems like it should be, right?
