Hello Mr. Atkins! My name is Jerard Bryson and I am a Senior at Freestyle Academy and Mountain View High School. I am pleased to show you some of my work I’ve done during my first and last year at here Freestyle. Outside of school I love to go for runs, make videos, and watch tv.

Personal Essay

I grew much more than I thought I would by writing this essay. It brought up my struggle with self-worth which is an embarrassing topic, but necessary to deal with. Overall, I learned to love myself more after writing this.

Research Essay

I gained more excellent practice brainstorming an idea for a paper, researching databases for credible sources, and formulating talking points while laying out facts in an MLA format.

Worldbuilding Story Treatment

We really had fun with this one. There was less pressure on us to create something serious so we could stretch our creative muscles and explore our curiosities. What if a film crew found themselves in a magical world? Would they choose to exploit it for fame or would they try to help the inhabitants?

Highlight Reel

Below is a highlight reel of my best projects I’ve worked on here at Freestyle! I have seen your many wonderful graphic designs and I can really appreciate them as someone who has some experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. I made my own little motion graphic animation of the Canvas logo which is included in the video below.
