Aging could’ve been a very simplistic photo to take. I have a dad whose beard is turning grey and white, a mother whose hair is almost completely grey now and a dog who is pure black pelt has been slowly withering with age. But those were all a little too sad to me almost… or at least not anything creative. So instead, I turned to the leaves which were also aging and dying. But like the rest of the world (though maybe not individuals), it cycles. Just as more people are born, more leaves will grow. Age is a means to an end, but also reproduces a beautiful beginning.
