Serenity is like a synonym for calm to me—or rather, a state you reach in an ultimate calmness. So, naturally, I thought about what was calming to me. I think one of my most calming images is also one that others relate to: something like rain coming down outside while you’re indoors on a comfortable sofa watching a fire. I had gotten this picture the other day while it was raining and thought it captured that perfectly. Despite it being purely focused on the rain, that rain is glowing and resting, almost looking peaceful and magical itself.
