I’m not sure about the portrait part, but I thought that the brutalism theme of the worn concrete made the space look lonely. The cold lighting is also a bonus, and I took a look at the website where we were supposed to draw inspiration from, and one of the photos was of a girl in bright pink riding a monochrome statue. I thought this matched it.
