While walking down the staircase at Safeway, my friend and I noticed that the lighting there would create some interesting composition, and so I snapped some photos of them. I wanted to heighten the contrast between the shadows and the sunlight coming in, but I also wanted to keep other aspects of the photo visible, which made editing very interesting.
