A couple weeks ago, while walking through the woods of a local park, my friend and I found this small clearing that was previously used as a hang out spot by other people. There’s these two big couches that got put behind this huge fallen log on the ground that perfectly hides them from the main trail. We didn’t sit on the couches since they were covered in dirt and god knows what, so we climbed onto the log instead and listened to music. Then a few days ago we returned with a guitar, and I took some shots of my friend strumming away to a Cavetown song. In the middle of this, the sun had shifted over to the right and created a sort of natural spotlight for them as they sat upon their wooden, mossy stage, and I managed to capture the moment. I think it’s moments like these that show the magic that music can bring.
