I associate freedom, especially with the context of it nearing summer and the end of the school year, in part with my backyard. It’s really big, and has lots of gardens, flowers, and trees in it, so it’s really pleasant to relax in during the summer. The association with summer is the main reason I thought this would fit freedom.
This photo specifically has a lot going on, and seems almost, but not quite, chaotic, which fit the theme. The flowers are also all pointing in one direction, and almost look like they’re stretching or flying away. During editing, I did the opposite of what I usually do, and increased the exposure while decreasing the contrast. While the somewhat chaotic nature of the photo did fit the prompt, I also wanted it to seem a little more subdued and calm, while keeping it very bright and warm looking.
