Narrative Two

Welcome to Narrative II! I am excited to share what we’ve been working on.

From December through March, seniors expanded on skills learned from the Narrative I unit in junior year – including (and not limited to) storytelling, prose, and visual impact – by exploring various narrative perspectives in visual surrealism, written dialogue, and spoken word.

Here’s What’s New in:

1. Worldbuilding treatment (like a film treatment), with influence from reading “The Parable of the Sower”.
2. Research essay on a real-world dilemma.
3. Collaborative pitch presentation of our ideas to the entire AM senior class.

• Digital Media

1. Multilayer art design and physical assembly.
2. 3D camera construction in digital video.

• Animation

1. 3D models: character design and biography.
2. Model rigging with motion-captured data.
3. 3D Animation
4. Storytelling through teamwork.
