In English, we wrote a research paper about a topic of our choosing with political relevance. We explored nuances of these topics through many sources of varying viewpoints. I decided to write mine on the ethical and legislative concerns surrounding generative AI, because I am very passionate about these concerns.

Surreal Composition:
The surreal composition project was a project introduced in Digital Media, that is related to the issues discussed in our research papers. Using Photoshop, we composed two or more images together to create a surreal yet cohesive image. Since my paper was on AI, and it’s continued and growing control it has over the world, I decided to reflect that which my image.
I really enjoyed the surreal composition project, it was really cool learning how to combine images and I enjoyed making a visual version of our research paper.
Worldbuilding Narrative Treatment
Our next project in English was our collaborative narrative treatment. We learned about story-telling devices, plot structure, and character development, and included them into our final treatments to create well-thought out stories. I worked with Jane and Rachel, and we wrote our treatment about a world where women are sold into marriage through bidding ceremonies, and then live out their sole purpose as wives. They are told what to wear what to cook and every aspect of their life is heavily controlled.
After writing up the treatment, we presented them like we were pitching to publishers/producers.
