For Narrative 2, all of our projects were based on our English project, which was to create a narrative treatment for a story we created in groups. I worked with Jane and Rachel, and we made our treatment about a society where women are sold into marriage at bidding ceremonies, to then live a life of extreme conformity as wives. We follow our main character and her journey of the bidding ceremony and life as a wife, to eventually see her involvement with the rebellion which eventually leads to the collapse of the system of oppression of women. This turned into a book cover, using Illustrator and InDesign, and a movie poster, using Photoshop for Design. In Digital Media, we made surreal compositions using Photoshop, multilayered 3D art in Illustrator as well as a 3D digital assembly video in After Effects, and finally a time lapse video of the assembly of the multilayered art.
