I really like this photo because of the colors that I could see from the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, when I imported the photo into Wordpress, the colors changed and became much less vibrant and appealing. The helicopter shows my habits because like the helicopter, I really like exploring new places and looking at things from a different angle.

This photo was taken from the iconic viewpoint, Glacier Point in Yosemite. During a full moon the entire landscape was lit up, and I could see millions of stars. I shot Half Dome at the bottom of the frame with the stars and sky taking up a majority of the photo.

The challenge for this week's photo was using shadow. This photo was taken flying over San Francisco while focused on my sister's phone. With the highlights of the city in the background, the plane was in the shadow and very cool.

For this week's photo challenge, I was supposed to take a photo with the subject center framed. During the holiday break, I went to Florida to visit family and got to see many holiday lights. I like this photo because of the unique colors from all the Christmas lights.

New Beginnings

This week's photo challenge was to take a photo of new beginnings. I think that this photo resembles new beginnings because of the sun about to set over the horizon. The sun rises and sets each day and it reminds us to live for the moment and never take a second for granted.

This week our photo challenge was to take a photo of the trash. I liked this photo because of how the bag is stretched and how the subject is center framed. Also the company that makes the food is garbage.

Balance

I think this photo really qualifies for being balanced. The rocks of the Southern California coastline are being washed over by the cold Pacific Ocean waves with a bursting sunset over the ocean. I really like this shot because of how many tries it took to get a good long exposure of the waves, and how wet I got to get the photo.
