Showcase

Freestyle made me reconsider choosing art as something to study in college and as a career path. I have learned so much about art over my junior and senior year. For my showcase, I want to exhibit work that exhibits my progress asa graphic designer, and work that exhibits my progress as a Illustrator.

This first piece was made as an advertisement for a fake wine brand. My wine was called “Ink”. I made the logo in Adobe Illustrator, however used Adobe Photoshop to integrate my logo into my add. Using softwares the specialize in certain tasks helps to get he best results.

While I love graphic design, I want to study Illustration. I hope to create concept art one day. I decided to focus my Zenith project on Concept art. I worked with a client producing art for a sci-fi story. My favorite piece depicts a hoverbike. I primarily used Adobe Photoshop, but also used Blender in order to create a 3D model for the bike.

I never thought I would enjoy Freestyle this much. I learned so much about art and technology. Freestyle has inspired me to chase after and learn the skills and things I want to. Being able to produce graphic design and illustration based digital art makes me proud. I know I still have so much to improve on, however that just makes me more excited to learn.
