In response to the viewpoint prompt, I chose to depict the perspective of a sailor looking out into the horizon, with an assortment of boats emerging from the pier onto the wide blue ocean ahead. This angle at which the picture was taken is intended to capture the woman’s field of vision when she is standing at the edge of the pier. This includes everything from the blue sky above her to the rows of surfboards, paddle boards, and aquatic nature that are level with her feet. Both the beautiful scenery and leading lines within this location compelled me to take a photo that corresponds with this challenge.
