One of the things I like about my culture is the traditional attire. For women, a Kimono is most often worn. Sometimes, to accompany the kimono we are wearing, we will put on hair accessories, or kanzashi. In this photo, I display the kanzashi I have. Each one is made using a special type of traditional Japanese fabric. kanzashi are often flowers, as many kimono designs have flowers as the main component. To use a kanzashi, you just insert it in to your hair, which will likely be put up. Although it may seem like it wont stay (because most are just 2 sticks) they surprisingly hold on well to the hair. I love looking at different designs of kanzashi, as each one has different details in them.
