For my self-portrait I decided to take a picture of a telephone pole outside of my house. At first it may appear to be boring or even unappealing to look at but everyday I came outside as a kid I would look at this pole and where all the wires that connected to it went. I could see it from my old bedroom window and it always has been a root of my creativity because I would make stories about the birds that sat there in the morning. Another reason I took it from this angle is because I have always loved looking up at the sky. I love the moon and the stars and I especially love the rain.
