I took this photo at Rancho San Antonio, one of my favorite places in the world. To me, there is nothing more serene than nature. After weeks of rain, the foliage was vibrantly green. The grass rustled playfully in the wind, and the creek was rushing. As the sun started to set, everything was lit gold. It is a gift to have open space reserves like Rancho in the area. Whenever I feel stressed or worried, hiking always clears my mind and connects me with the Earth.
