These tiny flowers brought me much joy when I stumbled on them on the side of a trail. After weeks of dreary weather, it had felt like ages since I had seen flowers blooming. The flowers clung together to stay up against the fierce wind. The grass blades twinkled as they shook. I have yet to know what species this flower is, but I hope to find out as we see more of them this spring. As we head into May, I hope to see sunny skies and blooming flowers.
