This Self Portrait photo is an expression of gratitude for my hands, and all that they allow me to do. It is through my hands that I can express myself creatively. Whether it be taking photos, drawing, writing, typing, or dancing. In all of these creative activities, I rely on my hands to share my thoughts, ideas, beliefs and values. This is a Self Portrait because who I am can only be seen in the things I create. My hands are the bridge between who I am on the inside, and what I create to express that on the outside.
