The very top of a blue typewriter is visible in the bottom right corner, extending leftwards, past the center. In the typewriter is a piece of paper, reading: "ESSAY. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz . . . . zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz ZzZzZZzZzzzzZZZzZZzzZzzzZZ" The typewriter is lying upon a striped bedsheet of the colors: Light gray, a faded light blue, and sea-foam green. Above that, a baby-blue colored pillow can be seen. The rest of the photo(the top third) is faded out due to the low aperture with which the photo was taken.
I used a low aperture to move the viewer’s focus to the front. I have displayed a sleepy mood, using both literal text that clearly conveys the message, as well as a bed in the background, which is often connected to the idea of sleeping.
